Zum Album
Produzent David Briggs, der vorher schon Neil Young produzierte, ließ die Band live im Studio aufnehmen. Dies brachte nicht das von der Band gewünschte Ergebnis, also wurde es von Cave und Harvey als Co-Produzenten nachbearbeitet.
Es ist das erste Album auf dem, Martyn P. Casey und Conway Savage zu hören sind, die danach ständige Mitglieder der Bad Seeds wurden.
